Courtney Love has a very special message for her late husband, Kurt Cobain.
The Hole singer took to Instagram over the weekend to share a sweet vintage snapshot of her, Kurt and their daughter Frances Bean Cobain.
"That Christmas moment in everyones [sic] lives that you never forget, the one that makes you feel on top of the world, where the greatest gifts are the loved ones you shared that moment with," she posted with the memorable moment.
"Well this is mine, I'm grateful to have ever experienced that moment. Merry Christmas Kurt, the greatest true love I've ever experienced in my life," she continued. "You gave me the gift that makes life worth living, our incredibly talented, loving, beautiful and gifted daughter Frances Bean Cobain. Merry Christmas Bean, love mom and dad."
The 23-year-old offspring of Love and Cobain opened up about her dad's tragic death earlier this year during an extremely candid interview with Rolling Stone.
"Kurt got to the point where he eventually had to sacrifice every bit of who he was to his art, because the world demanded it of him," Frances told the mag. "I think that was one of the main triggers as to why he felt he didn't want to be here and everyone would be happier without him."
The Nirvana frontman sadly took his own life in 1994, at the age of 27.
Clearly, Kurt still holds a special place in Love's heart – what do you think about her sweet message? Tell toofab in the comment section below and see how more stars celebrated the holiday in the gallery above.
