Laverne Cox shows us what's been hiding under her prison jumpsuit!
The "Orange Is The New Black" star is enjoying a much needed vacation and on Tuesday took to Instagram to share a swimsuit-clad photo from her getaway.
"This girl desperately needs a vacation. Earlier before I hit the pool. #TransIsBeautiful," she captioned the photo.
In the pic, the actress snaps a mirror selfie as she shows off her curves and cleavage in a sexy black cutout one-piece.
This isn't the first time the 31-year-old has bared her bod. Earlier this year, Laverne stripped down for Allure magazine's annual Nudes issue and stunned in the spread.
But the decision to pose didn't come easily for the star.
"Going through life you try to cover and hide but it doesn't really work," she revealed to the mag. "I said no initially, thought about it, and said no again. But I'm a black transgender woman. I felt this could be really powerful for the communities that I represent."
"Black women are not often told that we're beautiful unless we align with certain standards. Trans women certainly are not told we're beautiful. Seeing a black transgender woman embracing and loving everything about her body might be inspiring for some folks," she continues. "There's a beauty in the things we think are imperfect. It sounds very cliché, but its true."
