We're getting a very intimate look inside Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney's love life.
The two strip down to absolutely nothing for one of the 16 new covers of V Magazine, the engaged duo snapping a naked selfie for the publication's Spring Issue, which Gaga guest edited.
The photo shows the intertwined couple nude and covered in paint as the "Chicago Fire" star takes a photo of them in a mirror with a digital camera. Both of their numerous tattoos are visible as they sit on top of a splattered canvas.
"Since we first met, Taylor's been painting and drawing all over me. Years ago, when we were secretly living in San Diego and crashing on the floor of a beach shack, we never wore shoes. He told me he wanted to make love to me on a canvas .. for whatever reason we never got around to it," she explains in the accompanying article. "So when I asked him to collaborate with me on a project to raise money and awareness about mental illness, he immediately brought my attention back to this idea."
She says 100% of the proceeds from the sale of this specific cover will go to her Born This Way Foundation. The issue will sell for $50 through the V Magazine shop.
"We made love on this canvas in Chicago. We made love amidst chaos. We talked about shootings. We made love amidst terrorism. And we talked about how people's hearts are also suffering all over the world as they watch and witness a swell of violence," she continues. "We made love amidst violence. During tumultuous times we hope everyone in the world will see this and be reminded to love each other wildly, generously, totally, colorfully, without fear and with compassionate hearts."
We'll hopefully be seeing a substantially more clothed version of the couple on Sunday at the Golden Globe Awards, as Gaga was nominated for her work as The Countess on "American Horror Story: Hotel."
"I was in a van on my way to work and I heard about it and I almost jumped out of my seat," Kinney told toofab about her nom. "I'm really proud of her and really excited. I think it's amazing. She's been killing it, she's done a great job on that show!"
