Thousands of friends, family members and fans showed up to Notre-Dame Basilica in Montreal on Thursday for the public visitation for Celine Dion's late husband, Rene Angelil.
Dressed in all black, the "My Heart Will Go On" singer greeted mourners with her teenage son Rene-Charles Angelil by her side, as seen in a collection of official photos from the memorial service.
"The support we've received has been such a blessing," Dion told PEOPLE on Thursday at the memorial.
Angelil will be laid to rest later today, with a funeral which will be live-streamed via his official website. The funeral will also take place at Notre-Dame Basilica, where Angeil and Dion were married in 1994.
Both Celine's husband and brother, Daniel, passed away from cancer this month. Angelil was 73.
