Ryan Reynolds is standing by his daughter James' name!
The sexy star opened up about one-year-old's moniker on "Good Morning Britain" on Friday, where he was grilled about James' "unusual" name.
"In the spectrum of weird celebrity baby names, I feel like we're not really breaking any new ground here,” the "Deadpool" star said. "I mean, I didn't call her Summer Squash Meadowlark, or something."
While the name isn't that uncommon, it's a good thing wife Blake Lively didn't let the 39-year-old actor go with a different pronunciation of James!
"I also thought of just going with all the letters being silent in her name, so it would just be 'Haa,'" he joked.

The name likewise holds a very special place in Ryan's heart -- it's the name of Reynold's father, who passed away last October.
The "Just Friends" star is loving parenthood, too. "It's the most common thing in the world but the most profound," he confessed. "It's superfun. I just love it."
