The singer surprised everyone on Saturday afternoon by releasing a brand new single (for free!) on Tidal and an accompanying music video.
She's expecting to perform the track, "Formation," during her halftime gig at the Super Bowl in San Francisco on Sunday -- where Coldplay and Bruno Mars will also be hitting the stage.
The video is a celebration of black culture and Beyonce's own life, singing about her parents and Southern upbringing. The clip itself appears to be set during Mardi Gras in New Orleans, with images of Knowles atop a sinking police car, dancing inside an empty pool and an abandoned parking lot.
The highlight, however, is seeing her daughter Blue Ivy rocking out too. This girl has some serious swag!
