Khloe Kardashian is proud of her curves now, but that hasn't always been the case.
The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star revealed that she "never felt comfortable" in a swimsuit as a kid.
"When I was little and all my friends would be in their bathing suits at the beach or pool parties or summer camp, I would always be the chubby one," she wrote on her website and app. "I never felt comfortable. I would make up a story to get out of those situations. Back then, one-piece bathing suits weren't cute and I wasn't going to be in a bikini! They'd be like, "Come on, get in the pool!" I wish they knew what it was doing to me."
"I was really chubby from age 10 to 14, and even teachers would always say to me, 'You're really Kim and Kourtney's younger sister?' They wouldn't outright say 'you're ugly' or 'you're fat,' but adults need to realize what their words do to kids," she added. "A 10-year-old can still pick up on that energy."
The reality star loved playing sports, but she wasn't always treated with kindness when it came to buying the uniforms.
"I always played sports, too, and when we were in volleyball, the uniform might not fit. Or, I'd be out shopping and ask them if they had a size 8," she recalled. "Their response would be, 'No, we don't carry that size.' It's about how they said it, too. I would rather they just say, 'We sold out of that size.'"
Not only is Khlo opening up about her past, she's also talking about her future.
On the next episode of "Kocktails With Khloe," which airs Wednesday, the blonde beauty was asked if she would get married again.
"I do. Well, technically, I'm still f--king married," she joked, referring to her on-again-off-again divorce from Lamar Odom. "At this point, I don't know what tomorrow's gonna bring. I have learned that. They say, 'If you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans.' So, I have no plans to be made. Even if I re-marry the same person again, I don't know. That's not where I am right now."
When she was asked about starting over with an ex, Khloe said she's hopeful for the future.
"I hope that first marriage could happen again, but it's really hard to erase everything that happened," she admitted. "Building a friendship back is what I'm doing now. Nothing intimate, just pure love. I want someone to learn how to love themselves again."
