Chrissy Teigen's getting extremely candid about her pregnancy process!
The model chatted with People while promoting her new book, "Cravings," where she opened up about undergoing in vitro fertilization which led to her first baby-to-be with hubby John Legend.
Though Teigen recently confessed that she and the "All of Me" singer had been trying to start a family for years, she's now revealing that they picked the sex of their baby girl during IVF.
"I've made this decision," Teigen tells People in this week's issue. "Not only am I having a girl, but I picked the girl from her little embryo. I picked her and was like, 'Let's put in the girl.'"
"I think I was most excited and allured by the fact that John would be the best father to a little girl," she continues. "That excited me. It excited me to see … just the thought of seeing him with a little girl. I think he deserves a little girl. I think he deserves that bond. A boy will come along. We'll get there too, so it's not like we really have to pick. But he definitely is very lucky to have a little girl. And this girl is going to be so completely lucky to have John as her papa — it's crazy!"
The 30-year-old also loves the effects little girls tend to have on their fathers. "How soft they get, how mushy, and excited they get. It's so cute," she confesses.
