Rihanna may be No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart right now for her new single, "Work," but she's still got some major haters out there.
Wendy Williams went in on the singer during her daily talk show on Tuesday, saying that while she may have some relevant songs, none of them are going to stand the test of time.
"'Work' is her 14th number one single. Might not sound like a big deal to you, but let me just do a comparison, she's only 4 songs away from beating Mariah Carey. She's 6 songs away from beating The Beatles," Williams explained to her studio audience.
"I'm shocked she will claim that title of best selling single artist of all time," she continued, adding others on the list have already passed away or aren't making music people care about anymore.
"Because she's younger, she identifies with her fans more than other artists do," Wendy added, giving RiRi some props before coming for her, hard. "Mariah does not have four hot singles left in her soul. If you go see Mariah in Vegas, you don't want to hear new music. Madonna does not have new music in her. We want to hear 'Vogue' and stuff. I'm also shocked that Beyonce's no where on this list."
"If I could only buy one concert ticket [between Beyonce or Rihanna], I would still buy Beyonce's," she continued. Wendy then polled the audience and the cheers were overwhelmingly Team Bey.
"This Rihanna will not be a legend. Nope," Williams confidently stated. "Beyonce will do her residency in Vegas at 55 years old and you will see her. Rihanna will attempt to do it. Rihanna is good for right now, but she's not a legend. Nor will she be."
She ended her rant with a sip of tea and a simple, "That's all."
