Katie Holmes is a pretty cool mom!
The "Dawson's Creek" alum, her daughter Suri Cruise and some of the Suri's friends attended the "School of Rock" musical on Broadway in New York City on Tuesday night.
Katie even used some of her star-power to get her 9-year-old daughter -- who she shares with ex-husband Tom Cruise -- backstage to meet the entire cast after the show.
Holmes kept her look casual for the night, rocking a tan pea coat, white T-shirt jeans and sneakers, while Suri and her friends matched one another wearing cute pink coats with bows in their hair.

And judging by the smile of her face, it looks like Suri had the time of her life!
