Jared Leto, 44, spent the weekend just like every other celebrity in Hollywood -- by leaving L.A. and partying it up at Coachella in the desert.
The "Suicide Squad" star was spotted sharing an intimate moment with "New Americana" singer Halsey inside the VIP area at the festival, where they were photographed hugging and hanging out backstage.
Halsey, 22, and the actor were also seen watching another performance together.
No word on how these two met, but both were on hand at the MTV Movie Awards in Los Angeles last week.
The young New Jersey native recently opened up about her sexuality in an interview with Rolling Stone, after the publication asked her if it drives her crazy some people think she's called herself "tri-bi" ... since she's openly bisexual, biracial and has bipolar disorder.
"I f--king hate it, the idea that something like that would be trivialized down to a f--king hashtag," she told the publication. "I mean, there's a ton of biphobia — people refuse to accept bisexuality as an actual sexuality. And I'm biracial, but also white-passing, which is a unique perspective. So these kids say, like, 'Oh, f--king tri-bi Halsey! She'll never miss an opportunity to talk about it!" I want to sit them down like a mom and go, 'Six months ago you were begging for an artist that would talk about this s--t! But then I do, and you say, 'Oh, not her. Someone else.'"
