Zac Efron had a brand new 'do during last night's appearance on "The Tonight Show."
The "Neighbors 2" star traded in his short hair for crimped long locks before taking on host Jimmy Fallon in a "Water War." Don't worry, Fallon wore a matching wig too!
The rules of the game were simple: whoever won a hand in the card game got to throw water in the other player's face. The first person to throw all fives glasses in his opponent's face won and got to use a water cannon on the loser.
Fallon won the first hand and happily splashed Zac's face with water. "It's hard to see with the bangs," Efron said with a laugh before pulling off his wig.
At one point, an audience member screamed, "Take your shirt off," which prompted Fallon to respond. "No, I can't! I have a show to do! I can't take my shirt off."
Efron had a funny reaction to the request, saying, "When anyone asks you that, just say, 'After you!'"
Jimmy and Zac kept at it -- check out the clip below to see who came out on top!
We can see why the fan wanted to see Zac without his shirt -- he's in the best shape of his life.
The "Baywatch" hunk, who looks hot on the June cover of Men's Health, admitted that he's worked hard for his buff bod.
"Right now I'm probably the physically strongest I've ever felt," he told the mag. "Not in terms of bench press or how much I can squat, but in how quickly I could get out of this room and destroy everything in my path."
"If the zombie apocalypse happened right now," he said. "I'd definitely be able to defend myself."
In fact, Efron has been working out five or six days a week and often twice a day. He also follows a strict, low-carb diet and avoids all processed food.
"I am a firm believer in not eating chemicals and really, really trying to isolate where your food is coming from," he said during his shoot.
Despite being totally toned, the actor still see his flaws. "I step back and look at myself and I still want to kick that guy's ass sometimes," Efron said of his younger self. "Like, f--k that guy. He's done some kind of cool things with some cool people—he did that one thing [Neighbors] that was funny—but, I mean, he's still just that f--king kid from [High School Musical]."
