Melissa Joan Hart Celebrates 40th Birthday by Flaunting 40-Pound Weight Loss In a Bikini

The "Clarissa Explains It All" star took a trip to Punta Cana for a belated 40th birthday celebration, along with 11 of her closest girlfriends, after turning the big 4-0 back in April.

While in the Dominican Republic, she posted a series of photos on Instagram, showing off her fit bikini bod in a sexy green two-piece while reclining by the pool.

"I was so proud of myself when I first revealed my weight loss with Nutrisystem in a bikini after losing 40 pounds. That was two years ago," she captioned the pic. "Now I'm 40 and still able to wear a bikini. I feel fantastic!"

In another pic, she's seen showing some booty while laying on her stomach.

"I can't believe I'm 40! I still feel like I'm in my 20s," the former child star tells toofab. "I have so much energy and have never felt this confident. 40 seems to be my lucky number!"

"As a wife and mom, I am constantly trying to be the best version of myself," she adds. "I want be a good example for my children. I want to be healthy for them and I want to show them how to be healthy. I'm a happy, healthy and active part of my family. There's nothing better."
