Meadow Walker continued her father's legacy over the weekend, at an event for The Paul Walker Foundation.
The 17-year-old celebrated World Ocean Day at the Monterey Bay Aquarium on Saturday, where Adrian Grenier was presented with the 2016 Paul Walker Ocean Leadership Award.
Grenier was recognized for his work with The Lonely Whale, an organization "dedicated to bringing people closer to the world's oceans through education and awareness, inspiring empathy and action for ocean health and the wellbeing of marine wildlife."
"Honored to share my voice today. Thank you @paulwalkerfdn for recognizing my work with @lonelywhale. #DoGood," Grenier captioned a photo of him with Meadow and the Monterey Bay's executive director Julie Packard.
The Lonely Whale's beliefs are in line with the Paul Walker Foundation, which was launched by Meadow in September 2015.
"Reflecting on my father, I found myself reflecting on his passions," Meadow wrote on an Instagram announcing the foundation last year. "His passion for the ocean, his passion for rescuing animals, his passion for helping people and his passion for spontaneous goodwill. I wanted to start this foundation because I want to share that piece of him with the world. I want to share that part of him with others."
Meadow was also on hand to present the Paul Walker Youth Award to Meg Kikkeri of Cupertino, who will receive a college scholarship from the organization as well.
