Paula Abdul had a very sticky night on Monday's "So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation" ... after she was vomited on by contestant Chi Tahani, 12.
Chi wowed the judges with dances to songs from Beyonce and Jason Derulo, but let her nerves get the best of her when she shared a hug with Abdul after her performance.
"I'm so proud of you," Paula said to the aspiring dancer ... before she began to cover her mouth. "Are you OK?" Paula asked ... as Tahani puked on her arm.
"It's OK honey," Abdul said to the embarrassed young contestant. "It's OK."

The pre-teen shared her deepest apologies with the former pop star as the "Straight Up" singer tried to play off the awkward moment.
"I've never had anyone just vomit on me like that," the 53-year-old told the crowd.
Chi made the most of the mishap too, telling Cat Deeley after the show that Paula simply hugged her a tad too hard and "all of the happiness came out on her jacket."
