Jenny McCarthy isn't the only one Tara Reid's taking on in a war of words.
Earlier this week, the actress' "Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars" housemate Lisa D'Amato told toofab some pretty troubling details about living with the "American Pie" star -- and now, Reid's striking back!
"[I was] super shocked she was there because it seems she had fallen from grace for a while," D'Amato said in the candid interview. "So I was quite curious, just like everyone else who knows how Tara Reid is, how she is, if she's stable. News break, she's not."
D'Amato and her husband, Adam Friedman, went on to talk about her behavior, calling Reid a "distraction" while suggesting she only did the show for money. Check out Lisa's full interview above.
"We're so close to all the rest of everyone, which was magical," Lisa continued. "But those two [Tara and alleged BF Dean May], we just didn't understand how they were a couple or why they were there. It was a big distraction, them being there. I tried to be forthcoming in assisting, letting her know I was a friend or could be in the house. She was so adamant to not let go. The therapy would help her tremendously, but she wasn't letting it happen."
"I think she's looking to get press," Tara tells toofab, responding to D'Amato's accusations. "Everyone knows if they say something bad about me it's gonna end up in the papers."
"All these people, I feel, are using my name to make themselves relevant," she adds. "They are just trying to hurt me and it sucks. It's unfair. All I'm trying to do is promote 'Sharknado' and keep things positive, and keep moving forward."
"Sharknado 4" premieres July 31 on SyFy ... while "Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars" airs Friday nights on WEtv.
