Platinum hair, don't care!
Ashley Olsen debuted a bold platinum blonde shade at a launch party celebrating the opening of her and twin sister Mary-Kate's first-ever Elizabeth-and-James' brick-and-mortar store in Los Angeles on Tuesday night.
Both twins sported the same strawberry blonde shade as recently as May, when the designing duo hit the Met Gala red carpet together. But it appears Ashley wanted to go a bit lighter for the remaining summer months, embracing the bold new shade that seems to be having quite the moment among Hollywood's trendiest gals.
In fact, Ashley is the latest celeb with a little (platinum) blonde ambition; Taylor Swift rocked the sassy shade up until last month, and stars like Emma Stone and Karlie Kloss have also recently embraced the notice-me hue.
Despite the edgy color, Ashley remained true to her boho-chic signature style, wearing her hair loose with a fuss-free middle-part. She paired her new look with—you guessed it!—an Elizabeth and James coat (an interesting choice considering L.A.'s toasty summer temps!).
This isn't the first time the former child actress has experimented with platinum hair; she rocked the bright shade back in 2012, and has also sported every hair color from brown to black.
We're loving her new color for the warm-weather months but wouldn't be surprised if the this style chameleon changes up her mane before the season's over!
