Tara Reid is comfortable in her own skin.
The "American Pie" actress appears in the new issue of InTouch, where she opens up about her skinny shamers.
Though people have been commenting on Reid's weight for years, she doesn't let the criticism get to her.
"I feel great about my body," she says. "People always tell me to eat a burger — I love burgers! If I were to gain 10 pounds, I'd be asked why I got fat. I'm thin — and I'm good with that."
"People need to stop with the body shaming!" the "Sharknado" star exclaims. "I won't let what anyone says stop me from enjoying my life."
While the 40-year-old actress does have a bit of a reputation when it comes to her party girl past, Reid says that she the incredibly professional when she's on set.
"I like to have fun when I'm not working," she admits. "But I'm professional while I'm at work, and I've never been in trouble or arrested, so I don't deserve it!"
The blonde beauty likewise says that even though she's been in a slew of movies, she still finds it tough to land roles.
"I truly feel I need to constantly prove myself in this business," she confesses. "I've done 46 movies, and it's still tough to get roles when you're misunderstood and judged."
But at the end of the day, she's learned to "not take things too seriously" and "that not everyone is going to love you."
