There she is, Miss America!
A new Miss America was crowned on Sunday night with Arkansas' Savvy Shields walking away with the coveted crown.
The blonde beauty beat out 52 other contestants, including first runner up Miss South Carolina Rachel Wyatt and the first openly lesbian contestant Miss Missouri Erin O'Flaherty, to take home the title. Shields clearly made a good impression on the judges, which includedCiara, Mark Cuban and Gabby Douglas.
The latter asked the beauty queen to share her thoughts on presidential candidate Hillary Clinton during the Q&A portion of the competition and the contestant managed to give a pretty diplomatic answer.
"If you're trying to be leader of the free world, everything you say and do matters," she said with a smile on her face. "And all of your actions are held to a higher standard. And unfortunately, the media does love to sensationalize everything. It's hard to decide what is truth and what is truly scandal. Both of the contestants have done a great job."
When it came to the talent portion of the evening, Shields performed a jazz dance routine to "They Just Keep Moving the Line," a song from NBC's series "Smash."

And we know that she moved at least one judge during the swimsuit competition. As she walked down the stage clad in a black bikini, the camera cut to Mark Cuban, who could be seen licking his lips.
Shields takes the title from Miss Georgia 2015.
