A pregnant Kerry Washington showed off her baby bump—and some skin!—when she walked the Emmys 2016 red carpet today.
The expectant actress, who picked up a nomination for her role as Anita Hill in "Confirmation," wore a strapless Brandon Maxwell dress with two cutouts right above her her burgeoning bump—perhaps a wise move, considering many stars walking the carpet commented on the toasty Los Angeles temps.
Washigton's floor length column gown also featured a dramatic train that began at her upper back and added another yet another head-turning element to her look.
The "Scandal" star let her hair down—literally—for the occasion, wearing voluminous curls.
"[Kerry's hair] has to be something very special," Washington's hairstylist Takisha Sturdivant-Drew told PEOPLE magazine when discussing the "Scandal star's Emmys hair. "Because she's pregnant, it's gonna have to be [a style] that will blow everyone away."
Washington and husband Nnamdi Asomugha already have a daughter, Isabelle.
