Word to the wise: don't tick off Chelsea Handler.
The talk show host went off on Ann Coulter Wednesday night, after the commentator canceled her appearance on Handler's show the same day she was supposed to be on to promote her new book.
"Since I'm always accused of not representing both sides in this election, I went out on a limb, and I booked one of the most vocal Trump supporters in the country, Ann Coulter," Chelsea explained during the episode. "And guess what she did? She called in sick right before the show today. Oh, no. I'm sorry. She emailed in sick."
That didn't sit well with Handler, who said she was up at 5AM to read Coulter's book -- which she lovingly referred to "this piece of garbage" -- to prep for the interview.
With no backup guest ready, Chelsea trotted out "Ann Coulter's body-double" to do the interview for her, in the form of comedian Fortune Feimster in a long, blonde wig.
The two went on to chat for a good six minutes, touching on Coulter's controversial opinions on women's right to vote, Muslims, Mexicans, the environment and the LGBTQ community.
"Oh, I love gay people," Fortune exclaimed at one point, before adding, "Oh, wait, wait, I forgot who I was."
The interview turned into an all out attack on Coulter and her book.
"It's hard to get through that piece of s--t," Handler added, "and I do love to read."
So far, Coulter has remained mum on her replacement ... but we're sure she'll sound off soon enough!
