Amber Rose's journey on "Dancing with the Stars" came to an end on Monday night when judges eliminated the talk show host and her pro partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
"Oh, I'm sad," the visibly upset 32-year-old said after receiving the news.
"People don't know this about me, but I'm really shy in a lot of ways and I think that showed on the ballroom floor," continued Rose, who fought back tears.
Indeed, Rose struggled on the show, facing potential elimination more than once. And her run on the show was not without drama; she made headlines a few weeks ago when she called out judge Julianne Hough for what she interpreted as body shaming comments.
Though the two were able to patch things up, the blonde beauty still faced troubles with her routines up until the very end. In her rehearsals leading up to her elimination, a teary Rose walked out on Chmerkovskiy after the two had argued.
"I love you, but I'm leaving," she said. "I'm done. I'm done!"
Despite her ups and downs as a contestant, Rose took the time to show her appreciation for the show.
"I tried my best and thank you so much for having me here," she told the panel of judges following her elimination.
She also took the time to write a heartfelt message to her dance partner via Instagram:
"Although our time was cut short @maksimc I'm so happy I had the chance to experience this with you!" she wrote. "You truly are my brother for life! Who knew we would become so close in such a short amount of time? Thank you for not giving up on me and getting to know the real me with no judgment I'll love you forever for that reason and I'll always have ur back through whatever. I'll miss our stressed out rehearsals more then anything tho 😂 Love Amberony."
