Though it's been almost a week since President Donald Trump and Paul Ryan failed their mission to repeal Obamacare, Samantha Bee made it her mission Wednesday night to point out just how terrible things went for the Republican party, comparing the failure of the American Health Care Act to the deadly final scene in "Thelma & Louise."
"So I guess Democrats kind of won. The same way those cops won that car chase at the end of 'Thelma & Louise,'" she said in the segment (above), as the screen behind her showed Trump and Ryan in place of Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon from the 1991 film.
"He couldn't sell Obamacare repeal to a House that voted for it 60 times already?" she said. "Closing deals is the one thing President 'Big Boy Truck' was supposed to know how to do!"

"Yes, and the Atlanta Falcons would have won the Super Bowl, but they had no support from the New England Patriots," Bee joked.
The host later poked fun at the President for saying the bill was gone and the whole thing was an "interesting experience."
"Well, hey, when it's a matter of life and death for millions of people, the important thing is that you learned a lot," Bee said. "Good try, buddy! Grab an orange slice and a participation ribbon."
