Candace Cameron Bure's decision to wear a shirt that read "Not today Satan," a phrase made popular by "RuPaul's Drag Race" star Bianca Del Rio, was not well-received by the reality star, who called the "Fuller House" actress "homophobic."
"If only this homophobic Republican knew," Del Rio said as she reposted Bure's photo to her own Instagram page.
After Bure was inundated with comments from Del Rio's fan base, dragging her for wearing the shirt, she responded on Del Rio's page.

View Story"Why do you have to be nasty to me?" Bure wrote on Del Rio's page in response to all of the hate she was receiving. "You don't know me or my heart. I'm not homophobic and always sad when people think otherwise. Loving Jesus doesn't mean I hate gay people or anyone."

View Story"You sent a bunch of hateful people to my page writing horrible things," Bure wrote. "I hope next time you'll spread love and kindness, even when you disagree with people."
After Bure commented, Del Rio shared a copy of Bure's rebuttal on Instagram with the caption: "HER RESPONSE."
