Recently engaged "Morning Joe" co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski were parodied on "Saturday Night Live" over the weekend, and then chose to pretend they missed it Monday morning.
The sketch, which served as the NBC variety show's cold open, featured Alex Moffat and Kate McKinnon playing the pair, openly fawning over each other when Mika said something "naughty."
"Morning Joe" regular Mark Halperin was the first to bring up the elephant in the room at the start of the show.

"Did you not see?" Halperin asked Scarborough and Brzezinski, who seemed to have no idea what he was referring to. "I was featured on Saturday Night Live in the cold open."
"Get out," Brzezinski said. "That's amazing."
"I can't believe you guys didn't see that," Halperin said as Scarborough asked a producer in the control room if he was aware of the sketch.
