White House director of communications Anthony Scaramucci says he thought he was off the record when he unleashed a torrent of vile comments towards his political enemies while speaking with the New Yorker, but "The View" isn't having it.
Scaramucci's explosive comments -- including the kicker "I'm not Steve Bannon, I'm not trying to suck my own c-ck" -- were the talk of the morning show today, as most of the panel revealed why they think he knew exactly what he was doing.
"He knows it was on the record and he wanted it on the record," Jedediah Bila explained. "He wants to ally himself with Donald Trump against Priebus. Let's face it, Donald Trump got elected talking bluntly, so in his mind, Mooch said it worked for The Donald, we're gonna ally ourselves, we're gonna rally our base and stand up against the establishment."

"He was not that naive," guest co-host Tara Setmayer agreed. "I think what happened is he'sso arrogant, he thought he'd be able to say whatever he wanted and then if he got caught or it got on the record, he could use the media like a scapegoat."
"Personalities like his, like Trump's, it's everybody else's responsibility, they never take responsibility for anything," the conservative guest added.

"We're not talking about Russia, we're not talking about Mueller, it's all distraction," Setmayer said. "Mooch is that calculating."
The women all agreed that Mooch needs to watch his back though, because as Tara put it, "everyone knows Donald Trump needs to be the center of attention."

Joy Behar also addressed Scaramucci's comment about Bannon, joking, "[He] must have a Craftmatic adjustable bed. It's the only way I could figure he could accomplish that."
