Kate Hudson is the life of her own parties -- literally.
In her cover story for Cosmo, the actress and author of "Pretty Fun" discusses her rules for having the best time, staying in the best shape and who she calls when she's on the verge of a meltdown.
"My No. 1 rule for parties is that the host always has to be having the most fun," she said. "I've had windows break at my house. I've had to reupholster my chairs and my sofas. There's not party that I've had where I haven't gotten the call from my friends the next day that just said, 'Ugh, I needed that -- that was so much fun. I had the best time.'"

My morning routine is: Coffee, kids, breakfast, I try to meditate, I water my bonsai, and school drop-off and then I start my day.
