"Bachelor in Paradise" star Daniel Maguire wants to set the record straight on his summer fling with Lacey Mark since his side of the story was cut from ABC's reunion special.
"She villainized me and we couldn't see eye to eye," the 32-year-old Bachelor contestant told TooFab. "She has what she thinks and I have what I think and she told me she doesn't want to talk to me because she wants to get over me."
Maguire was frustrated with Mark after the reunion wrapped because he felt she lied about their hook-up at Vinny Ventiera's party in NYC prior to debuting on "Bachelor in Paradise," and he took issue with her confession of what happened behind doors in the fantasy suite.

"I was starting to like her a lot and that was true, but I didn't mean it in a love way. When the camera's are on, I felt on the spot, but we were having a good time together and once the cameras were off, I was like, 'Oh we have to be realistic about this situation. This is serious. I wouldn't like it if you went back to New York and you were hooking up with other guys and vice versa.' I just didn't want a label, but she did. She wanted the 100 percent all in and the marriage and I couldn't do that. I still want to see her again, but she has different wants, needs and values."

The former Bachelor star was also angry with how Mark mischaracterized his New York City visit during Monday's reunion since Mark claims he only traveled so he could see her.
Maguire said she twisted to make him look bad, but his main reason for the NYC trip was to promote his television appearances not to visit Mark.
"I was there for six nights and I was there for work to promote the 'Matchmaker' show. I never got to sightsee or see friends because we were so busy all day," he said. "I could have easily strung her along for camera sake, but I didn't want to lead her on. We decided in July that we were just going to be friends. I invited her to Vancouver, but she didn't want to come."
