Perez Hilton Fires Back Over Backlash for Kylie Jenner Abortion Comments

After news of Jenner's pregnancy broke, the celebrity blogger posted a lengthy video on YouTube on Friday in which he said, "If I were Kris Jenner, I would tell that girl to get an abortion!"

"What I meant to say if I didn't say it accurately is that, if I were her mother, I would've told Kylie Jenner to get an abortion when they found out in July," Hilton said in an almost eight-minute video response he shared Sunday morning.

"I'm not saying get an abortion now -- I'm not saying get an abortion," Hilton said. "I would never say that to her. I'm not her dad or her mom, but if I were, that's what I would've said. And I would say the same thing to my daughter if she were to get pregnant under similar circumstances: her age, not a stable relationship, her just being totally unfit to be pregnant, in my opinion. And at the end of the day, my opinion is just that."

Hilton likened his right to share his thoughts on the subject to the right of extreme Pro-Life supporters to share theirs.

"I take being a father so seriously, and I do everything I can to be the best father possible," he said. "I know what it takes to be a good parent. I also know that nannies are invaluable, but nothing can replace the love, the disciplines, the connection that a mom or dad has -- a good or present mom and dad. If nannies are gonna be raising your child, what's the point?"

Hilton then said Kylie's "skew of what is normal is totally off" and that "her perception of reality is not reality" because she grew up in the public eye.

"I'm just sad for that child, for that unborn child," Hilton said. "I truly believe if I were Kris Jenner, the best option for Kylie and her future and for that child would have been for her to abort that baby."

"I stand behind everything I said in that first video," he added. "And if you don't like it, great! You don't have to like it. It was just my opinion. I'm entitled to mine, you're entitled to yours, and I said what I said because I actually love children so much."
