Justin Theroux's giant back tattoos were greeted with more fanfare than Ben Affleck's ink.
The "Leftovers" star did not hesitate to show off the artwork on his body while doing a Q&A Sunday at the Vulture Festival, where he explained to fans exactly why he got the tattoos. Turns out, they're tributes to his deceased dogs -- and the animals they used to eat in public.

View Story"I had two dogs, both rescues, pit bulls and pit bull mix," he said, after revealing the ink. "And when they died I dedicated half of my back to one and half of my back to the other."
"So there's a picture of a rat because my dog used to kill rats in Washington Square Park -- which was not fun, it was horrible and she was really good at it. I guess she was just doing a service to New York... Oh, and then a New York pigeon and a rat."
