Lincoln Adim, a "Bachelorette" contestant currently seen chasing Becca Kufrin's heart on the ABC reality dating competition series, was recently found guilty of of indecent sexual assault and battery.
Reality Steve teamed up with Season 15 "Bachelor" contestant Ashley Spivey to break the news Wednesday with a statement from Jake Wark, the press secretary for the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office in Massachusetts, where the Nigerian man was convicted.

View Story"Mr. Adim was convicted on May 21, 2018 of indecent assault and battery for groping and assaulting an adult female on a harbor cruise ship early on May 30, 2016. He was sentenced to one year in a house of correction, with that term suspended for a two-year probationary period," Wark said.
"The judge ordered him to stay away from the victim and attend three Alcoholics Anonymous meetings per week during those two years," the statement continued. "If he complies with the judge's orders, he will not have to serve out his term, but if he fails to comply with those orders or re-offends, he could be ordered to serve out the year behind bars."
In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, the Suffolk County DA's office added, "By law, he is expected to register as a sex offender."
ABC has not yet commented on the matter, but backlash is already brewing on Twitter, where Spivey wrote, "I do not understand how a serious crime like this was missed during background checks."
