Seth MacFarlane is "embarrassed" to work for Fox.
The "Family Guy" creator, who also produces "The Orville" for the same network, tweeted out the public shame on Saturday after Fox News personality Tucker Carlson told his viewers not to trust news from any other network last week.

In other words, don't think critically, don't consult multiple news sources, and in general, don't use your brain. Just blindly obey Fox News. This is fringe shit, and it's business like this that makes me embarrassed to work for this company. https://t.co/kC7MPYxdgZ

And an executive at the company noticed. Fox News and Fox Business senior vice president Michael Tammero, who is also an entertainment reporter for the channel, called out the actor, writer and producer for accepting paychecks from a company that embarrasses him.
Yet... NOT quite embarrassed enough to not cash that check ... isn't that right @sethmacfarlane ? https://t.co/xPcXApmEYj

Carlson, who hosts "Tucker Carlson Tonight" on the network that regularly rules cable news ratings, made the comment on Friday night. "If you're looking to understand what's actually happening in this country, always assume the opposite of whatever they're telling you on the big news stations."
It's not uncommon for Fox News and its hosts to take aim at celebrities that criticize them, so we would not be surprised if MacFarlane gets some unflattering coverage this week.
