Tamra Judge and Vicki Gunvalson decided to work on rebuilding their friendship on last season's explosive "Real Housewives of Orange County" reunion, but that doesn't mean they're back to being BFFs.
TooFab caught up with Tamra Wednesday morning, and she dished on what Season 13 will hold for her future with Vicki, who perpetuated a rumor during Season 12 that Tamra's husband, Eddie Judge, was gay. According to Tamra, her husband and Vicki will finally hash things out, too.
'Real Housewives of Orange County' Season 13 Trailer Brings 2 New Housewives Into the Insanity
View Story"It took some time, but Vicki made the right choice to sit down with Eddie," Tamra teased to TooFab. "If she hadn't, it would've been really difficult to get close to her again."
Eddie may have agreed to sit down and listen to what Vicki had to say, but other members of Tamra's family were not as forgiving. In fact, she said her "whole family" advised her to stay away. "I just don't think everybody knows the situation and what went down and how deep it got," Tamra said. "It really affected a lot of people in my family, including my children -- just the things that were asked to them at school. My family was like, 'Why? Why? Why?'"
"My mom was the hardest one [to convince] because she just loves Eddie so much," she added. "She just kept telling me, 'Don't ever trust her. Ever.'"
Tamra Slams Vicki Over Gay Rumors on 'RHOC' Reunion: 'Hang With F-cking Dogs, You Get Fleas'
View StoryWhen asked if she feels she's able to trust Vicki now, Tamra said, "I'm cautious. Let's just keep it at that. Something like that -- something at that level -- you keep it in the back of your head, but you have to try to move on. And I told myself to try to move on."
Tamra also said that Season 13 will be "a lot different than the last two years," adding that it's filled with "heartache," "drama" and "real, true stuff that's going on."
"Kelly and Vicki's relationship changes a little bit, and me and Shannon have it out," she said. "So there's truly a fine line between love and hate."
Below is everything else Tamra said about "RHOC" Season 13, which premieres Monday, July 16 on Bravo.
'Real Housewives of New York' Boat Ride from Hell, Brutal Vacation Fights Light Up Explosive Trailer
View StoryIn the trailer, you tell Shannon she needs to take her wedding ring off. Why do you think she's having such a hard time dealing with her divorce? Why isn't Kelly having those same struggles?
I think it was like two different situations and two different marriages. Kelly wasn't married as long. Shannon didn't necessarily want the divorce. She and David were married a long time, they have three girls together, and Shannon's just not good with change. We all know that. And I kind of felt that Kelly already lived a divorced lifestyle where she was always going out and doing things. Shannon's more of a homebody. It was just a big change for Shannon.
You also go off on Shannon in a later scene. Does that have to do with how she's dealing with her divorce?
Yes and no. It's more than that. A lot of it has to do with her state of mind and how she was dealing with things. In the past six months, it was just... I would call it tough love. It was a whole lot of tough love. That scene was at the end of the season. As of now, she's doing great. She's lost weight, she looks good, she's more positive. So the tough love worked.
Also in the trailer, you tell Vicki's boyfriend he needs to marry her. In the scene before, she tells him he doesn't need to. Why do you feel the need to speak on her behalf?
Vicki wants to get married, and she keeps saying that she wants to get married, so during that conversation, we were talking about them getting married, and I was just like, 'It's time to get married. C'mon. You've been together for two years. Either shit, or get off the pot.' And he kind of got off the pot.
