Another whirlwind Hollywood romance culminated in a fast engagement on Saturday night as Justin Bieber proposed to Hailey Baldwin during a trip to the Bahamas. But nobody prepared his legions of Beliebers, who immediately blew up Twitter in shock and anguish.
It all went down at a restaurant on the resort the couple were staying at Saturday night. Everyone was salsa dancing when the pop star got down on one knee in front of the entire restaurant, as reported by TMZ.

Bieber's dad, Jeremy, seemingly confirmed the big news on his Instagram Sunday. "Proud is an understatement! Excited for the next chapter," he wrote in a caption tagging his son.
Bieber and Baldwin's engagement comes weeks after Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson decided to put a ring on it, too.
It may all be fun in the sun for Bieber and Baldwin as they celebrate their engagement in the Bahamas, but the news came as quite a shock to the Twittersphere, catapulting Bieber's name toward the top of the trending topics list as his fans tried to figure out what they did wrong. How can he be getting married when they've been waiting for him since they were 12 years old?
Sure, there are the usual congratulations, and a few funny memes sprinkled along the way, but the overwhelming response seems to be this sense of dismay from those fans who grew up with him and fell madly in love with him during their adolescence.
