Scottie battled back and re-entered the House during Thursday night's live eviction episode of "Big Brother," but it would take an HOH win for him to have any shot of staying in the game.
Level 6 has been running the game for months now, picking off their enemies whether they were in power or not. They've been taking full advantage of JC's wicked mind games, and just letting Sam float off to the side in her own little bubble. Finally, they'd eliminated everyone except for Haleigh, and then Scottie came back.
'Big Brother' Blowout: Faysal and Haleigh Face Eviction, But Battle Back Could Reunite Them
View StoryBut honestly, it hardly mattered. Even if Haleigh or Scottie were to win HOH, it still takes three votes to evict someone this week, and where would they find them? The HOH doesn't vote, so they'd need to find two people willing to flip. Not gonna happen.
In other words, this section of "Big Brother" is already written, so all the producers can do is try to drum up drama and uncertainty. They were probably desperately hoping Scottie or Haleigh would win HOH this week, though, to at least make things interesting. If they could keep to L6 people on the block, they could pull off a stunning temporary upset.
But then Tyler won, and they could have really just skipped to the end. All his talk about doing what was best for his game over Level 6, and chats with everyone were a waste of time. His choices were painfully obvious and inevitable. Haleigh and Scottie wound up back on the block.
And if one of them wins HOH, he'll just throw one of his Final 2 allies up as a pawn and evict the other. Easy as cherry pie.
"We're going to run this season like you'd run a department store. Each product, or Houseguest, may have come in with equal value, but pretty quickly you start to see that certain ones aren't working. First, you try discounting them to see if they can turn things around and become solid performers again. But if that doesn't work, it's time to put them on clearance so you can sell them out (the door). With that said, let's take a look at our inventory, ranked from our strongest performer to our weakest._

Tyler (even) is the master of this season, and if he goes to the end, he deserves the prize money.
Angela (up 1) may be the only one in the house -- save the two on the block -- without a Final 2 deal with Tyler, but she's the only one who really has one. With each passing day, he's falling more for her and she says she is with him? Is she? She's so stoic and robotic, it's totally possible this is just a very good strategy on her part.
Kaycee (up 1) has a Final 2 with Tyler and a very close relationship with Angela. Plus, Tyler is confident he can beat her in the end. He's probably not the only one, making her chances of getting that far pretty good. Plus if Tyler or Angela take her, they can argue loyalty even though it was really for an easy victory.
Brett (up 2) is also reaping the benefits of a Final 2 with Tyler and Level 6. He's another who could get taken to the end as someone who's easy to beat. The jury hates him and he's not really won much. Honestly, we probably could have just kept Level 6 up there all season long, but we kept imagining someone or something would break their stranglehold on the season. But it never happened.

JC (down 3) is in trouble now, as his usual strategy won't work as well against Level 6. After all, they were on the other side of it all season, watching him do it. They know what a snake in the grass he is, so they will be coming for him. He's a real threat to win if he goes too far.

Haleigh (down 2) may be Tyler's target, but the rest of the House has said they want Scottie. That said, Haleigh nearly upended everything with that near-victory in the HOH competition, so they might decide to boot her instead. Either way, she'll need a miracle to survive the next few weeks.
Scottie (new) returns to drop straight to the bottom. The numbers just aren't here, the alliance remains unbroken, and yet he tried his best to scramble back to Tyler's side. It was never going to work, and his fate is just about as sealed as Haleigh's. If not this week, soon enough.

"I've been to Battle Back and now they're all acting like they love me, even though each and every one of them voted me out. So I don't owe these people anything. " --Scottie
"I'm just annoyed because I did work really hard to get him out. And then he just, like, walks into the house. I'm really pissed." --JC
"Honestly, I feel like Scottie is the best option to come back, because back in the day, I used the veto on Scottie to keep him in this house. So I feel like Scottie probably has bigger fish to fry than me." --Scottie
"I said you, and I hoped you because everyone else hates me." --Angela (after Scottie asked who they thought would be coming back)
"He wins HOHs, he wins Battle Backs, so he's definitely a big target for Level 6." --Angela (on Scottie)
"I don't know what I was thinking, bro. JC was in my head saying you were coming for me." --Faysal (at Battle Back... food for thought)
"You and I have to win this. We have to win." --Haleigh (to Scottie, prepping for HOH comp)"Am I going up if I don't win?" --Scottie"Probably next to me.""Oh, f--k!""There's so much to catch up on."
"Alright, who wants to make a deal?" --Kaycee (like 2 seconds into the HOH comp)
"Aww man, not my hair, dude," --Tyler (during HOH comp ... eye on the prize, dude!)
"Last time I felt this dizzy, I was four-fingers deep into a bottle of jug win. And at least then I was having fun." --Sam (during HOH comp)
"You guys are doing great. Hang in there." --Angela (monotone and sounding totally insincere on the sidelines of HOH comp)
"Haleigh is the only one in the House who's had the ball to put me on the block when she won the Hacker. So beating her is crucial to my game." --Tyler (down to him and Haleigh in HOH comp)
"So I've beaten almost everyone in this house, except for the biggest threat out of all of them. I can taste this HOH. All I have to do is beat him." --Haleigh (during HOH comp)
"This week, it's gonna be what benefits Tyler -- not what benefits Level 6 the most -- and I'm gonna do what's best to get me to the end of the game, because my eye is on the prize right now." --Tyler (after winning HOH)
"At this point, why are we even dragging out the situation. Just send me home. I can't do this anymore. I physically and mentally can't do this anymore." --Haleigh (after tough HOH loss)
"JC's always planning something, to pin something on someone else. He's a little rat." --Angela"A little sneaky snake. We'll get him." --Tyler
"I have Final 2 deals with everyone in this house besides Haleigh, Scottie and Angela. But I feel like I'm pretty good with Angela, so the safest move for me might be to put up Haleigh and Scottie." --Tyler
"I hate how this is all filmed." --Angela (playing with Tyler's hair)"It's the most frustrating thing in the world." --Tyler"Just you wait.""What are you doing to me?!"
"I'm pretty sure Haleigh's gonna be the target this week, and I don't need to get caught in that crossfire." --Scottie (trying to reconnect with Tyler)
"JC's been using his tricks on everyone in the house, and now that I'm HOH he's using them on me. But it's not gonna work." --Tyler
