Plus, see who can do one hell of a Sofia Vergara impression!
After getting the crap scared out of him more times than he can count on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," Eric Stonestreet got to pay it forward to his "Modern Family" costars ... before one more surprise got them all.
Sofia Vergara, Sarah Hyland, Ty Burrell, Julie Bowen, Ed O'Neill, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Ariel Winter, Nolan Gould and Rico Rodriguez all joined Stonestreet on Tuesday's episode, where DeGeneres revealed she tasked Eric with filming himself as he shocked all his costars on set.
The scares begin around the 1:40 mark:
Bowen was blindsided, O'Neill clutched his heart and Vergara screamed, while Burrell, Ferguson and Hyland totally kept their cool. In fact, Hyland even asked him, flat out, "Really? Ellen tell you to do this?
While doing a group photoshoot, Stonestreet found himself getting frightened again after DeGeneres had a creepy clown pop out of a box he was standing near. This guy had everyone jumping!
One thing Vergara wasn't scared about, however, was being killed off the show.
During the cast interview with Ellen, she was asked about confirmed reports that a "significant character" will die during the upcoming season and it will be a "moving event" for the show.
Stonestreet deadpanned, "Jesse," when asked about it. Ferguson kept quiet though, telling Ellen they "can't say anything."
"I didn't get nervous when I heard somebody was..." Vergara explained. "If I had heard somebody was going to get deported, than I would. It would either be Rico or me. I think Rico would go first."
Also freaky: Bowen's impression of her costar.
After Ellen noted how Vergara's accent has gotten "worse and worse" through her years on the show, she asked who in the cast could mimic her best.
Julie was the clear winner there, proving it by imitating the conversation she and Vergara had before the taping about what they were going to wear.
As a final trivia game for the entire gang, DeGeneres decided to see just how well they know each other after working together for 10 years.
The answer: not that well.
Watch the video above to see who lived with a phone sex operator, who hilariously used to walk in mall fashion shows and who once taught a course on speed reading ... something they didn't actually know how to do.
Season 10 of "Modern Family" kicks off September 26 on ABC.
