View StoryAccording the an official statement from Kensington Palace, Markle's mother, Doria Ragland is "very happy about the lovely news and she looks forward to welcoming her first grandchild."
"The Queen, Duke of Edinburgh, Prince of Wales, Duchess of Cornwall, and Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted for the couple," the statement continued, adding that they were all able to share their congratulations with the couple in person at Princess Eugenie's wedding last Friday.

"Their Royal Highnesses very much appreciate all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share their happy news."
As we mentioned above, the child of Harry, 34, and Meghan, 37, will be seventh in line for the throne, behind Charles, William, George, Charlotte, Louis and Harry himself.
