Pippa welcomed her first child -- a baby boy weighing in at 8 lbs. 9 oz. -- with husband James Matthews on Monday at 1:58 p.m., local time. Pippa and James have been married since May 2017.

The birth of the new baby boy makes Pippa's sister Kate, a.k.a the Duchess of Cambridge, an aunt for the first time. Kate and her husband Prince William are parents to Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 3, and Prince Louis, 5 months.
Kensington Palace announced in a statement that "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are thrilled for Pippa and James."
Pippa's delightful news comes just one day after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced that they are expecting a child.
