Meanwhile, Bristol Palin says she never wants to get married again after her nasty split from Dakota.
After a ho-hum episode last week, the drama returned to "Teen Mom OG" on Monday night.
One couple made a huge decision about their relationship, another pair kept talking smack about each other, a house was purchased and at least one vas deferens was sliced.
Here are the 5 biggest developments from tonight's episode.

View StoryCatelynn & Tyler Decide to Live Separately
While Catelynn and Tyler Baltierra have been having issues in their relationship all season, they came to a surprising decision tonight: they're going to try living separately for a month.
Catelynn admitted she was "devastated" about the proposition when Tyler first brought it up, but eventually came around to the idea, despite planning to do it while she was pregnant with the couple's second child.
"It was scary, it was sad, it was hurtful," Catelynn said of the suggestion. "It's like bringing up the old wounds from the miscarriage and that's traumatic. In my mind it makes it harder for a mom to be trying to do that, to take care of a three year old and being pregnant. It's a lot of stress."
She later explained to a friend that they wouldn't be seeing other people and added she had even asked Tyler if there was "somebody else" when he first pitched the idea to her. "He was like, 'What the f--k, do you think I would cheat on you?'" she said.
"I feel like the separation thing is going to be hard, but it'll be good for me," she later said.
Speaking to his mom, Tyler also explained that they would still have "date nights" during the trial separation and would start marriage counseling together.
The two also held a gender reveal party, where they learned they'd be having another daughter.
Why Bristol Palin and Cheyenne Floyd Were 'Worried' About Meeting 'Teen Mom OG' Costars
View StoryBristol and Dakota Keep Trash Talking Each Other
While Bristol Palin and Dakota Meyer didn't speak to each other all episode, that didn't stop them from talking about each other.
While in Alaska fishing with friends, she talked about how great it feels to be divorced. "I feel like a huge weight off my chest," Palin said, before telling her besties that she doesn't think she'll ever get married again.
She added that she wasn't looking to date either, after one friend said she needed to get herself a Texas cowboy. "No. I've only dated one guy that wasn't from Alaska and looked what happened, okay?" Bristol replied. "Learned my lesson. I don't want to date ever, ever, ever."
Palin later vented to another friend about how "ugly" things had gotten with Dakota following their split. "I can't say that I'm surprised, because I saw these kinds of traits and that's why I didn't want to get married in the first place," she told her confidant.
"He hates everyone around me. And he sat there and convinced me that my parents hated me, you hated me, everyone hated me and moving to Texas, it's like I literally cut out every person in my life," she continued. "It's always been a control thing. Because we're divorced, I feel like I'm stuck in Texas."
While speaking to his own mother, Dakota said he prayed for the day when Bristol would "leave me alone" and their only interactions would be about the kids, "like a business relationship."
Gary Gets a Vasectomy
Amber Portwood has definitely slipped into the background a bit this season, popping up this episode to attend an MMA class. According to the reality star, it's a theraputic outlet for her bipolar disorder, and helps her get back in shape.
Meanwhile, Gary Shirley got a storyline of his own, as he decided to get a vasectomy. After his wife, Kristina, suffered an ectopic pregnancy, he went through with the procedure so they wouldn't have to worry about her conceiving again.
"I'm not gonna say I'm 100% comfortable, because I'm not," he told her before the operation, "But I'm okay doing it."
After slipping into a jock strap for the procedure, cameras followed him into the operating room as he got snipped. "I went through this for you, so you don't have to get pregnant no more," he told Kristina after. "I'm thinking about it now, I think it was about as bad as I thought it would be exactly. I felt like my testicles were gonna hurt, and they did. After it was like I got kicked in the balls."
He added, however, that his physical pain was nothing compared to the emotional pain they had gone through.
Maci and Taylor Buy a New Home
It was time for an upgrade for Maci Bookout and Taylor McKinney, who decided they had grown out of their first home together.
The two went house hunting and found a place they loved. "It's definitely on the top end of the price range," Bookout warned, but it was still perfect.
They made an offer, it was accepted and just like that, they were packing. Still, Maci couldn't help but feel a little sad about it all, saying, "I'm definitely happy, the new house just isn't going to feel like home for a while."
Cheyenne and Cory Get Closer
Cheyenne Floyd decided to go to Michigan with her ex, Cory Wharton, so their daughter Ryder could meet his friends and family. That move, ultimately, put a permanent wedge between her and her now-ex, Zach.
There was a lot of buildup about a possible confrontation between Cheyenne and one of Cory's exes, Lauren, who also appeared on "Real World: Ex-Plosion" with him. Ultimately, there was no drama between them, as many of Cory's loved ones gathered to see his daughter.
In the end, Cory admitted he was getting frustrated with people asking him why he and Cheyenne aren't together, a question Cheyenne fielded from his friends too.
The episode came to a close with the two sharing a sweet moment, as they both agreed they'd choose each other and their daughter if ever given an ultimatum by a significant other.
How long til they rekindle that flame? We'll see when "Teen Mom OG" airs Mondays on MTV.
