Ray Romano, D'Arcy Carden and Lukas Graham had very different reactions to being serenaded amid a sea of roses in their tiny dressing rooms.
Kanye West may have done it first, but James Corden definitely did it bigger with his own Valentine's Day gift featuring Kenny G for all of his Thursday guests.
As usual, Corden introduced his guests by checking in on them one by one in their dressing rooms, where they get to chill and hang out before they join him on stage. Only this time, their dressing rooms were adorned with all those roses in vases on the floor and Kenny G just playing away.
Kim Kardashian Denies Having a Nose Job, But Gets Why People Think She Did
View Story"We've been planning this for ages," James said. "We didn't know that Kanye was going to steal our thunder this morning."
Ray Romano thought it was wonderful but also a little weird. "It's just me and him," he said. "It's just us."
D'Arcy Carden had a somewhat tougher time with Kenny just blowing away behind her when James tried to talk to her. "I do think you're saying words, but I only hear Kenny in my ear," she responded.
He didn't even spare Lukas Graham the Kenny G treatment, but they were having a grand old time with it declaring, "We got a little Kanye moment in here."
The absolute most brilliant part of this is how quickly James and his team were able to coordinate with Kenny G to have him come into their studio and recreate this instantly iconic moment for their own Valentine's Day tribute.

Perhaps because he knows that while it was a very sweet Valentine's gift from Kanye West to his wife Kim Kardashian, it was also incredibly over the top and more than a little bit ridiculous. Stars, sometimes they're nothing like us at all.
