"Let us all say a prayer for his speedy recovery," writes Ian Ziering.
Luke Perry's famous friends, costars and fans are all in shock today, after the actor was hospitalized following a stroke at his Sherman Oaks home.
Paramedics responded to the home of the "Riverdale" and "Beverly Hills, 90210" star on Wednesday morning and transported him to a nearby hospital, according to TMZ. His rep said the 52-year-old actor is currently "under observation."
The incident happened the same day Fox announced a revival of "90210" starring Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Gabrielle Carteris, Brian Austin Green and Tori Spelling. Perry was not expected to join the show, which finds the actors all playing heightened versions of themselves as they try to organize a reunion.
Perry has been busy at work on "Riverdale," on which he plays the father to Archie Andrews (KJ Apa). According to TMZ, he had recently filmed scenes for the CW show on the Warner Bros. lot in Los Angeles.
After the news broke, the well-wishes and posts of support for Perry from others in Hollywood -- including some of his fellow "90210" alums and many of his "Riverdale" costars -- started popping up on social media. We'll update below as more tributes come in.
