According to Pumpkin, "thing took a turn" after June and Alana returned from filming "Dancing with the Stars: Juniors" in California.
Mama June's daughter Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon has broken her silence following her mom's arrest.
Although June, 39, has yet to speak on the incident, WE tv addressed the ongoing drama at the beginning of Friday's new "Mama June: From Not to Hot." While most of the footage was filmed months ago, a message from the network and what appeared to be some newly recorded videos from Pumpkin were added to the episode.

View Story"We share our viewers concerns for June Shannon and her entire family," the network's statement read, echoing what they sent out when the arrest happened. "We are monitoring events as they occur and are focused, as always, on the entire family's well-being."
Pumpkin, 19, referenced the incident in additional commentary throughout the episode.
"Hey guys, as you know, you've seen the stuff out in the media and our family is going through a rough patch," she began. "But this year alone we have had a lot of happiness. And when my mom and Alana were out in California and everything seemed good. Then the next couple months rolled around and things took a turn. We're sharing our story in hopes that it helps another family and I sincerely want to thank our fans for always being there and loving and supporting us."
Later in the episode, which concentrated on Mama June having a pregnancy scare and Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson, 13, getting eliminated from "Dancing with the Stars: Juniors," Pumpkin said June's sister first noticed something was wrong months ago.
"Six months ago, when Mama was out in California, Doe Doe had told me, she was like, 'I think something's going on,'" she explained. "Not only physically with Mama's health but something was wrong with her and Geno. Geno has always been a father figure to me and Alana and that is how we've looked at him, and we really care for Geno."
"But all that was about to change forever," she added.
A new promo for the show also included the couple's mug shots and footage from an another arrest, one that also appeared in earlier teasers for the season.

Shannon and Doak were arrested on drug possession charges at an Alabama gas station after someone called to report a domestic incident between the two, TMZ first reported. June allegedly had crack cocaine and had a pipe and needle on her and was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Doak was arrested on the same charges as well as domestic violence and harassment.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Doak threatened to "kill" June during the domestic dispute. Sources also said the family is blaming Doak for the arrest and alleged he's been an "awful influence" for June since they started dating three years ago.
"Mama June: From Not to Hot" airs Fridays at 9 p.m. ET on WE tv.
