Jana Kramer has revealed her husband Mike Caussin had a "massive" sex addiction relapse about a year ago.
When talking about marital problems with her husband on her "Whine Down" podcast on Monday, the "One Tree Hill" alum said the former NFL player has been in sex addiction treatment for three years but has only been sober for one.

"I'm not minimizing cheating because we have other things in Jan and I's discussion of boundaries that's cheating," he added. "But no sex outside of the marriage. I just want people to be clear that there wasn't any other affair since that moment."
Kramer, who shares two kids with Caussin -- Jolie, 3, and Jace, 3 months, -- referenced the three-step circle system for addiction and said her husband "did something he should not have done that was in a circle that was very red, like, bad and could have been awful."
"And that was a, you know, a massive relapse," she said. "Yes, it wasn't physical out of the marriage, but it was something where the action was basically --." Caussin added, "It was classic addictive behavior."

View StoryAlthough they didn't describe the incident in detail, the singer alluded that she almost caught her husband in the act. "We're just basically happy that someone didn't show up," Kramer said. "I showed up at the hotel instead. If you really want to know."
"We've been through some shit," Caussin concluded, "So that's why even though I've been in the program coming on three years, I'm a year sober."
Caussin opened up about his struggle with sex addiction throughout the podcast episode, including when he sought treatment in 2016. "I spent essentially 29 years thinking or living a different way," he said. "Then all of the sudden, you shock your system, you say no, you're actually supposed to think of things this way. So for people just to flip the switch immediately, that's few and far between. There's some people that do, but it's progress, not perfection. I had my stumbles along the way."
He will be one year sober next week.
Back in 2016, US Weekly reported the former pro athlete allegedly cheated on Kramer with "multiple" women following their wedding in 2015. The couple split up, however, they later got back together and renewed their vows in Dec. 2017.
