Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino has made some interesting friends in prison.
While appearing on Jenny McCarthy's Sirius XM radio show Wednesday, Mike's "Jersey Shore" pals Vinny Guadagnino and Pauly "DJ Pauly D" DelVecchio said Mike is doing "so good" at the Otisville Federal Correctional Institution in Otisville, New York, where he is serving his eight-month sentence for tax evasion.

"He's in such good spirits because he sees Lauren [Pesce] once a week, his wife, and then he has so much to come home to," Pauly added. "So he just wants to get it over with and do his time. He's happy."
Not only does Mike seem to be doing well serving his sentences, but according to Vinny and Pauly he's become friends with none other than Fyre Festival conman Billy McFarland, as well as George Garofano, who was behind Jennifer Lawrence's nude photo leaks. They even play board games together.
"He is in there with the guy from the Fyre Festival," Vinny said. "And he's in there with the guy that leaked Jennifer Lawrence's nudes, that hacked her phone."

In a recent interview with E! News, another one of Pauly and Vinny's "Jersey Shore" co-stars, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, offered a similar update on Mike's wellbeing in prison. In fact, Snooki said Mike is having "the time of his life."
"It's like he's in a senior home, he's playing Bingo, he's helping people recover in jail," Snooki said. "We all talk to him through an email, so I talk to him like once a week. He's in the gym a lot, so he's probably gonna come out ripped."
"You know, he's not gonna be BDS anymore -- Big Daddy Sitch -- he's gonna have his, probably, six-pack again," she said. "But he's doing, he's doing good in there, which thank god because we were all nervous."
"He's helping other people out with sobriety," she added. "He loves Bingo and all of his Scrabble games...and he loves the fan mail that he's getting. So everyone keep sending the fan mail!"
Despite the playful tone, the "Jersey Shore" star's apparent new prison buddies are both convicted criminals who have been reviled in the press and exposed for causing harm to others.
