On Friday, Jamie Lynn shared a sweet photo of Britney on Instagram just a few short hours following the "Piece of Me" singer's appearance in court. After a critic questioned Jamie Lynn's motives for posting the pic of her sister, the country singer hit back.

Jamie Lynn put the hater in their place by replying, "haha nice try, but I have NEVER been paid a dime from my sister. that is HER hard earned money, and I am NOT entitled to a cent of it. I would no spend money I did not earn."
Jamie Lynn's post comes after Britney appeared in court with their mom Lynne Spears for a conservatorship hearing. She later deleted the post from her page.
The younger Spears sister also seemingly alluded to the ongoing family legal drama in an Instagram video.
"So, it's been a minute since I've done one of my Tom Boy Talk videos because there's been a little 's' going down," the mother of two said. Gwen Stefani's "Hollaback Girl" then began to play in the clip. As Jamie Lynn leaned into the camera, the lyrics played: "This shit is bananas."
Jamie Lynn continued, "But I'm back because I didn't forget about y'all and the topics that you've submitted."

Britney and her estranged mother Lynne Spears appeared in court Friday as Lynne is fighting to gain access to the singer's medical information following Britney's 30-day stay in a mental health facility, according to TMZ.
TMZ reports Britney still isn't doing well after her 30-day stay.
The judge ruled in Friday's conservatorship hearing that Britney receive an expert evaluation. Sources also told TMZ, Britney asked the judge to allow her certain freedoms she doesn't have under the conservatorship, however, the judge did not grant any of her requests.
