"When LVP stopped filming with the ladies, I was asked to step up to the plate ... I hope Kyle appreciates the fact I showed up to the reunion," Camille says.
Camille Grammer is hitting back at "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" castmate Kyle Richards for calling her a wishy-washy "people-pleaser" who came to the Season 9 reunion "with guns blazing."
Replying to a fan on Twitter who shared a snippet of a recent interview Kyle did with Jenny McCarthy, Camille said, "When [Lisa Vanderpump] stopped filming with the ladies, I was asked to step up to the plate, so to speak. I hope Kyle appreciates the fact I showed up to the reunion. If I hadn't, what would've happened?"

"I don't need the money," Camille fired back. "The producers asked me to show up. They said they needed me there."

During Kyle's sit-down with Jenny, the podcast host noted that Camille started the season "dishin' some dirt" and wondered if the once-diamond-holding Housewife was "trying to get a full-time position on the show."
"Well, just wait 'til the reunion," Kyle said with an ominous smile. "I mean, she came in guns blazing. And the thing is with Camille -- and I did everything I could not to argue with her because we've made so much progress over these 10 years, 9 years, since we had our fight Season 1 -- but the thing is, if you're gonna think something and feel something, you gotta have some conviction. You can't change your mind every time someone else walks into a room."
"She just says whatever the person she's talking to wants to hear, so you don't really know what she's thinking and feeling," Kyle continued. "And I said that. I said that to her face. She's a people-pleaser, she's scared of the backlash, so she says whatever. I'm like, 'You do know there's cameras rolling and this is gonna play back, [right?] You can't say two different things!'"
Jenny said she couldn't figure out Camille's "intention," noting she had gone from "sweet Camille" (following her divorce from Kelsey Grammer after Season 1) to "the shark."
"This is not Season 1 [Camille]," Kyle remarked. "This is like more than Season 1 Camille. It was a lot. There's more stuff coming up that I think you're gonna be very surprised [about]."
"I think that she has that in her," Kyle added. "I mean, clearly. You can only hide that for so long... It was very surprising at times. You know, the cast who doesn't know her as well -- they were like, 'What is that? She said this, and then she says this. She said completely two different things.' Very messy."
Kyle Richards Reveals She Was Anorexic at 17
View StoryKyle, Camille, Lisa Rinna, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, Teddi Mellencamp and Denise Richards filmed the Season 9 reunion last week. Lisa Vanderpump opted out, and Camille wishes she had done the same.
"I showed up in good faith for #RHOBH reunion, but I shouldn't have gone," Camille tweeted last Thursday. "Hindsight is 20/20."
"I didn't have fun," she said to another fan who asked about the reunion. "It was a nightmare for me. The other ladies might [have] had fun."
"Truly sorry to hear that," someone else replied. "The group scenes since your wedding have all be very nasty toward you. They've claimed you are talking behind their backs and they just can't have that -- all while they are busy talking behind yours and they're too stupid to make the connection."
"They have been talking behind my back the whole time," Camille said in response. "The hypocrisy of it all."
After the taping, Kyle, Rinna, Erika, Dorit, Teddi and Denise were seen leaving Craig's restaurant in their reunion outfits, but Camille was nowhere to be seen. When an inquiring fan asked Camille on Twitter if she had been included in the dinner, she replied, "No."
Andy Cohen Breaks Silence on Lisa Vanderpump's 'RHOBH' Exit and Reunion No-Show
View StoryCamille was a main castmember on Seasons 1 and 2 of the Bravo series, and she went from being abhorred to adored in that short amount of time. As Jenny pointed out, pre-divorced Camille and post-divorced Camille were two different people.
While no longer considered a Housewife on the show, Camille still makes semi-regular appearances. This season, cameras captured her finding herself in some hot water with the ladies for saying one thing to certain castmembers' faces and another behind their backs.
Camille was also the only castmember who wasn't on the outs with Vanderpump after Dorit's Vanderpump Dogs-adopted pup ended up at a kill shelter, thus igniting this season's biggest storyline, PuppyGate. But after she made some incendiary comments about Vanderpump's teeth, gum line and breath, things got rocky. She's since apologized.
"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
