Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos' Daughter Lola Walked in on Them Having Sex: 'You Just Ruined My Birthday!'

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos' daughter Lola received quite the unexpected surprise for her birthday over the weekend.

While hosting "Live with Kelly and Ryan" Monday, the daytime talk show host and "Riverdale" star revealed their 18-year-old daughter walked in on them having sex on Father's Day -- which also happened to fall on Lola's birthday.

"We started her day off pretty bad yesterday," Consuelos, who was filling in for Ryan Seacrest, began. "It happened again."

"She opened the door and it was late morning...and it was Father's Day," he added with a smile.

The fact the teen saw her parents going at it was just the beginning of the hilarious tale as the family had guests over at the time.

"I'm going to be honest: I was not in the mood," Ripa recalled. "There was a house full of people."

"I could tell," Consuelos added. "You were going through the motions."

When Lola opened the door and caught her parents getting busy, the couple yelled at their daughter to get out. Ripa, who said she made "eye contact" with her second child, attempted to excuse the behavior by saying her husband was giving her CPR. Unsurprisingly, Lola was not amused.

"She shuts the door and you hear, 'You just ruined my birthday! And my life! And I used to see in color and now everything is gray,'" Ripa recalled.

The family's Father's Day brunch that followed was awkward, to say the least. Counsuelos and Ripa tried to concentrate on eating, but Lola wasn't going to let her parents forget what just happened.

"We're eating and we're like, 'This is delicious,'" Ripa said. "And [Lola] goes, 'You're disgusting!'"

"She goes, 'You guys have no chill,'" Consuelos added. "'You act like you're 20, but you're not.'"

Ripa and Consuelos, who also share sons Michael, 22, and Joaquin, 16, said the topic of conversation then became filled with stories about times the kids walked in on their parents having sex.

Although Consuelos claimed "no one knocks" in the house, Lola said that wasn't the case.

"Lola's like, 'I knocked. You can't hear me because you're deaf from exercise class,' which may or may not be true," Ripa recalled.
