Wendy Williams Hits Back at Body Shamers After Bow Wow Criticizes Bikini Photo

Sipping her tea, Williams seemingly took at shot at the rapper on her show.

The Internet didn't have time for Bow Wow's body shaming and Wendy Williams apparently doesn't either.

The talk show host addressed critics of her physique on Tuesday morning and while she didn't directly call out Bow Wow by name, it sure seemed like she was responding to his recent diss of her bikini photos.

During a segment about Lil Nas X beating Mariah Carey's record for number of consecutive weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 with "Old Town Road," Williams gave a shoutout to chart topper for a gift he presumably sent her.

"By the way, thank you for my panty shorts," she said, before a photo of her wearing his Wrangler short shorts showed on the screen. "You know he has that deal with Wrangler, he knows I like panty shorts."

"Please refrain from your body shame," she continued, "You don't have to like it, but someone does." Sipping her tea, she added, "Can't you tell by my glow?"

Bow Wow first took to body shaming after Wendy Williams called him out on her show for dissing his ex-girlfriend Ciara at a concert.

Earlier this month, Bow Wow came up as a Hot Topic. She called out the rapper for his stage antics while performing his one-time Ciara collaboration "Like U." During that performance he took the time to tell his audience, "I had this bitch first. You know that right?"

"Here's the thing. It's very distasteful, you know what I'm saying? We've all had somebody before we had you, man," Williams said. "But to be shirtless in a club, calling her a b***h, you are so wrong for that."

In response, Bow Wow doubled down with his own personal attack, body shaming the talk show host via Twitter. He shared a paparazzi pic of Williams in a bikini on the beach and captioned it, "They say its a hot girl summer." He then appended a series of emojis including a hazard sign as well as laughing and sick faces.

Needless to say, the diss was not well-received by Bow Wow's social media fans, or Twitter in general, with several of them calling the rapper out for the low blow.
