Mary makes it very clear she doesn't want her daughter to relocate.
Chelsea Houska's move may seem pretty small on paper, but to her mom, it's a big deal.
On Tuesday's episode of "Teen Mom 2," Chelsea told her mom Mary that she and husband Cole DeBoer were about to close on a new property located 45 minutes away from their previous home. Mary was visibly upset at the news, which meant -- in her mind -- less time with her three grandkids, Aubree, Layne and Watson.
"I'm just sick ... I don't like talking about it, it's so sad for me," Mary told her daughter. "It isn't so much that you're leaving because it isn't that far, but you gotta think of it rationally. One, you're only 15 minutes from me now, I'm by myself, I have to drive all the way down there after five because I work til five."
"I just felt like it was too fast. You kind of told me about it. When you brought it up to me, it seemed like it wasn't very long," she continued.
Chelsea hit back, saying she and Cole weren't going to tell her mother everything and didn't want to break the news until they had figured out what they decided was best for them.
"Just don't rush into anything. Just really really think about it," she said, choking up. "I'm not trying to sound like I'm selfish. These kids are all I got anymore. I'm gonna cry. To think of you're that far ..."
"It's not that far!" Chelsea replied.

View StoryWhen Mary said the new location would mean she wouldn't be able to visit as much or go to every one of the kids' games, Chelsea told her "and that's okay." Mary was also worried about traveling being that much worse in the winter and at night.
"We have to do what we feel is right," Chelsea told her. "No matter what, we're going to make it so you don't feel like this."
Speaking with Cole later, Chelsea said she understood where her mom was coming from and said the two of them would "go out of our way to make sure [their parents] are happy and seeing [their grandkids] enough"
"At the same time, part of me is like, that's not fair, you can drive 40 minutes if you want to see us that bad, we're right here," Cole replied. "It's not like we're moving to Alaska!"
"Teen Mom 2" airs Tuesdays on MTV.
