YouTuber Goes Viral With Fart Gender Reveal

We may have a new contender for the worst gender reveal yet.

YouTuber Paige Ginn announced the gender of her impending (and possibly fictitious) infant on Tuesday... by farting.

The prankster, known as "That Girl Who Fakes Falls", uploaded the gross seven-second clip on Instagram and YouTube, and it quickly became one of the top trending news stories on Google.

In the clip, shot in an apartment decorated with pink and blue balloons, Paige lies on her stomach on the floor, wearing just a white T-shirt and naked from the waist down.

Contorting her face momentarily in concentrated effort, she then.... well let's just say it's a cloud of blue.

A roar of approval sends the camera panning left to reveal her three friends raucously celebrating the puff of colored powder.

Within 24 hours the clip had already been viewed almost a half a million times on Instagram.

Paige hasn't yet revealed if she really is pregnant; the vast majority of the comments were thanking Paige for the laugh, and not very many congratulating her on the baby.

Fans know this isn't the first time Paige has utilized her rear end for a post, as a quick scan through her Instagram page can confirm.

Her prank of choice however, as her name suggests, is taking pratfalls in front of unsuspecting witnesses.

Outlandish gender reveals have become more common of recent — and some results have been far from funny.

In September, two Texans narrowly escaped with their lives when the plane they were using to dump 350 gallons of pink water stalled and crashed.

The following month a 56-year-old grandmother was killed by shrapnel at a gender reveal party when the family inadvertently built a pipe bomb.

In 2017, an off-duty border patrol agent accidentally started a 47,000 acre fire that cost more than $8million in damage when he shot an explosive canister filled with blue powder.
